Program
Research-based materials and programs, such as Orton-Gillingham and Direct Instruction, are used to provide a systematic approach to overcoming learning difficulties. Children are tutored in a safe, caring environment that promotes a feeling of success and an interest in continued learning. Learning objectives are broken down into smaller groups of skills and concepts that are easily learned. Regular review and testing ensures that children achieve and maintain mastery of each set of skills, in both fluency and comprehension. A strong foundation in the basic skills allows for rapid mastery of more complex skills as well as teaching strategies for independent learning.
